Shipping Methods

We use UPS and Common Carrier Less Than Truckload (LTL) and FCL shipments for larger orders. Larger orders must be able to accept trucks and container maritime shipments for international deliveries.

All orders are shipped via the best, most cost-effective method: either local carrier or UPS. Orders will be shipped via truck when the gross weight of your order makes the use of a common carrier more economical and maritime shipments for international deliveries..

When an order is shipped by truck or internationally, our traffic department negotiates with a number of logistic companies to ensure the most competitive ship rates available. Please be aware that specifying your own shipping carrier may result in higher shipping costs to you and does not guaranteed deliveries which is strictly prohibited.

Tracking.

 To calculate when your new product will be delivered, a tracking number will be issued which include delivery time and date to your order.. If your order has gone beyond the quoted delivery time please send an e-mail to sales@primecontainersdepot.com with your last name and tracking number so we may help you find out what is happening.

Delivery Appointments.

To ensure that your order is delivered at your convenience, all customers will receive a call 1-3 days in advance of potential delivery to schedule a delivery appointment of your choosing. Please note that we provide tracking numbers – we have found that a phone call to schedule a delivery appointment is more convenient and accurate for our customers.

Damage in Shipment

All claims for material damaged in shipment must be reported to the delivering carrier; UPS driver, truck driver, etc. Please retain the original carton as it is often needed as part of a claim settlement.

Shortage of Merchandise.

In the event that you receive an order that shows an item shipped, but the item(s) are not in the box, please notify us immediately or in as timely a manner as possible.
